Commission Junction (CJ) is another great affiliate platform. A lot of marketers have joined hands with CJ for providing a platform to the affiliates to market their products for a commission. Unlike ClickBank, but just like PayDotCom, they have affiliate programs for all types of products, be they digital or physical.

Like ClickBank, it also penalizes the members who cannot generate a sale over a period of three months. Their accounts become dormant and they are fined on per day basis.

The other problem with CJ is that, the look of the site is not that impressive and the background colors and fonts make it difficult for a newbie to navigate the site comfortably. On the other hand, there is no comparison with ClickBank. ClickBank web site is very easy to navigate, easily understood, easy to work with. CJ web site is not that smooth. One has to do some digging to understand the programs and to get links.

Lot of marketers called advertisers on CJ site, do not have very good sales pages. The destination or sales pages look dreary and short of details. This is not the case with ClickBank or PayDotCom site. Sales letters for each product on ClickBank and PayDotCom are well laid out, detailed, clear and some of them are superb. There are chances of better sales with excellent sales pages.

The great advantage with CJ is that this site is well known around the world, has plenty of fortune and other reputed companies on its affiliate list and has lot of very great programs. Once one is familiar with the site and its features, one can do better.

There are a scores of ways to promote CJ products. These are true for ClickBank and PayDotCom sites as well. It is very important to have one's own web site in order to promote their products as an affiliate. One can select products on these sites and promote through one's web site or through advertising. One just has to obtain links, place them on web pages and finally drive traffic to them.
